Evan Crocker DVM, Practice Owner
EDUCATION
Doctor Crocker earned a BS in Biology from Cal State San Bernardino in 1992 and a BS in Veterinary Science as well as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Washington State University in 1994 and 1996 respectively. After graduation he worked as an associate veterinarian in Monroe, WA and subsequently purchased the Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic in 1997. Doctor Crocker has formed a healthcare team and practice that he is very proud of, whose goal is to provide the highest level of health and preventive care possible in a compassionate and caring environment.
RESIDENCY
Over the past decade he has developed a very strong interest in advanced veterinary dentistry and oral surgery and has constantly improved the quality of dentistry services offered through continuing education and equipment upgrades needed to do excellent work.
This passion was formalized in 2011 when he entered a residency program to work toward meeting the requirements for Board Certification in Veterinary Dentistry and Oral Surgery. Doctor Crocker enjoys all facets of Dentistry including root canals, restorative dentistry, jaw fracture repair, oral cancer surgery, and periodontal disease treatment. He enjoys dentistry since “It allows me the opportunity to have an instant and profound impact on an animal’s quality of life, same day. I cannot express the joy I feel when pet parents tell me that they have seen huge improvement in just a few days after their dog or cat has had oral surgery.”
Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic is currently one of five practices in Washington State offering advanced dental care at this level.
MEMBERSHIPS/INTERESTS
He is a member of the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, Puget Sound Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. His outside interests include spending time with his family and pets, playing soccer with his GSSL team, watching English Premier League and club soccer, attending Sounders games, and playing video games (when there is time).
Courtney Roller, DVM

Dr. Courtney Roller received both her undergraduate (BS Animal Science) and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University (Go Cougs!) before coming home to western Washington to start her career. Dr. Roller spent much of her childhood around animals and knew she wanted to pursue a career with them in some fashion. After completing a high school research paper on advancements in veterinary medicine, she knew that is what she wanted to pursue. Dr. Roller has been in small animal general practice since graduating in 2018. Her professional interests include preventative medicine, internal medicine, and sports medicine. When not at the clinic, Dr. Roller enjoys spending time with her border collie, Breeze and her two cats, Nimbus and Phoenix. Dr. Roller also spends many of her weekends off competing and volunteering at local dog agility competitions.
Camryn Flint, DVM

Dr. Camryn Flint grew up knowing that she wanted to dedicate her life to improving the welfare of animals and strengthening the human-animal bond. She attended Oregon State University for both her undergraduate degree (BS (Hons) in Animal Science) and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She is thrilled to be relocating to the beautiful Seattle area and to join the incredible team at Mercer Island Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Flint has a strong interest in feline medicine, soft tissue surgery, and geriatric medicine. When not at work, she is expanding her vinyl collection, seeing live music, or cuddling up on the couch with a book and her three cats; Olivia, Beatrice, and Bunny.
Kim Krug , DVM

Dr. Kim Krug grew up in Parker, CO, and attended Colorado State University for both her undergraduate studies and veterinary school. She graduated with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2011 and moved to Seattle for a 1-year small-animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Seattle. Following her internship, she stayed on as an emergency and critical care staff doctor until 2019, when she moved to Portland, Oregon, to start her behavior residency at the Animal Behavior Clinic. In addition to seeing behavior cases in Portland, she worked at Sadie Vet Urgent Care, as she still loves practicing general medicine. Dr. Krug is ecstatic to be moving back to the Seattle area, where she can spend more time with some of her family, especially her young nephews. She shares her home with two Australian Shepherds, Sori and Gatsby, who love training and competing in nosework.
Dr. Krug is excited to start offering behavior medicine services to the pets of Seattle. She will be finishing her residency through the American College of Veterinary Behaviorists in 2026. Her interest in behavior medicine stems mostly from her Australian Shepherd Sori, who presented some behavior hurdles, including fear of other dogs, generalized anxiety, and fear of veterinary visits. Dr. Krug started teaching cooperative veterinary care to ease stress and anxiety for Sori. One day, she hopes all families will teach cooperative veterinary care to their pets as commonly as they teach sit and down. Dr. Krug is also passionate about teaching veterinary professionals how to prevent, recognize, and treat anxiety and fear in their patients. She believes behavioral health in all animals is vital to their overall health and well-being.
